Our Purpose

The PTC stands for Parent Teacher Collaboration. It is very similar to the traditional PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), however when we restarted the group in 2024 after it had disassembled in 2022, we decided to keep the name we went by when we were not quite an official organization, which was the Parent Teacher Collaboration. We feel that collabroration is a better word as we work together with parents, families, teachers, staff, and the community to make the educational experience positive and memorable.

We help in every way we can to ensure the success of students and to better the overall school climate. Some of the ways we achieve this is through fundraising to make sure we can help with costs of field trips, Birthday treats, making sure all students and staff have the supplies they need to learn and teach, and having fun events such as hot cocoa before winter break, supplying popcorn for movie days, dances, providing meals and treats for teachers and staff, and much more!
